Ben Carson’s Political Blunders Expose Adventist Theological Weaknesses

Ben Carson's PictureIf you were alive in the mid 1980’s and beyond, you could not resist being impacted by the Ben Carson Story—those “gifted hands,” that were used by divine direction to separate twins; that was as groundbreaking as it was breathtaking, for he then pioneered a new frontier in the world of science and modern medicine.  A neurosurgeon of class, Ben Carson commands the attention of the world’s most brilliant minds, because he possesses an uncanny ability to sort through the details of the motor neurons network, which like telecommunication wires traverse the human body in a multitude of ways, interspersed by gaps known as “synapses.”  From his study of the “synaptic gap” he can determine a tremendous amount of information about a person’s cranial ability!  This is no small feat, and only few people have ventured inside the human brain and make sense of the divine computer stored behind our frontal lobes.  So with all his knowledge in Science and medicine, it comes as both a surprise and embarrassment to see this famed neurosurgeon fail in the opinion polls because of his one great lack—how the world outside of America and the Papacy works—international foreign policy.

Why should this very brilliant scholar fail so miserably on such a ubiquitous topic?  This is a serious question to contemplate, for it summarily exposes both the strengths and weaknesses of Seventh-day Adventist Theology and eschatology on world conditions in the latter days.  Dr. Carson, you see, is a Seventh-day Adventist, and as a good church boy, knows his church doctrines quite well: In a church-based interview, Carson articulates his views on America Will Play A Big Role In Bible Prophecy, “National Sunday Law”, & NWO.  I shall share a snippet which is here reproduce verbatim from the now popular YouTube video. Carson said, “I don’t know what role the Lord has for me in all this. I do know—and looking at prophecy—that the United States will play a big role, that there has to be a return first to a religious awakening, and, more than likely, any persecution, particularly of the Sabbath, will come from the right, not from the left.”[1]

So it is clear that from a purely SDA prophetic model, Carson is on point with his understandings of the end times, at least as it relates to the America, the papacy, and Sunday law enforcement against commandment keepers.  But this is where it ends for him, for though a brilliant neurosurgeon he is, Ben Carson’s denomination does not see the prophetic existence of the State of Israel, and as such cannot biblically and correctly relate to global conditions occurring around the world in these last days.  They simply see “wars and rumors of wars,” and “Jesus can come any day now,” etc., but lack the skill required to understand the international and global changes that are being forced upon the world even now.  They are so ignorant of these realities that they have joined ranks  with the United Nations to help achieving the dream of a “New World Order” through the Millennium Development Goals (MDG’s), and the Sustainability Development Goals (SDG)—the brainchild of the religion of “Climate Change,” now popularized by the sitting pope (Francis).

Let’s now look at Carson’s political ineptitude and see that my analysis is not only true, but that it exposes the rotten timber in some foundational Adventist doctrines:

Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson acknowledged his slip in national polls Monday morning, pointing to his lack of foreign policy experience.

Carson dropped 8 percentage points since mid-October according to a CNN/ORC poll released last Friday…down from 64 percent five weeks ago, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released last week.

“Well basically people feel that I don’t have foreign policy experience and I understand why that would be the case because they listen to the narrative that only politicians can fix this, but the fact of the matter is, if you look at all the people who are running, how many of them have had foreign policy experience?”…”The answer is no, not, not many. Maybe Hillary.”

The retired neurosurgeon faced a number of foreign policy mistakes in the wake of the Nov. 13 Paris terror attacks, with his own advisers acknowledging that he has trouble grasping foreign affairs.

Some of his most notable foreign policy blunders include claiming the Chinese were militarily involved in Syria, his inability to name potential partners in the coalition against ISIS, and most recently his pronunciation of Hamas, which sounded more “hummus,” the chick pea dip.

“He is not perfect,” Carson adviser Armstrong Williams told Bloomberg News recently. “But he continues to surround himself with people and engage people that can enhance his foreign policy.”[2]

It is remarkable to see how accurate the news reporters have zeroed in on Carson’s weaknesses!  Let’s examine them more closely:

  1. Syria
  2. ISIS
  3. Hamas

What do all these entities have in common?  Look at the shocking answer: They all hate Israel!  But a theology which ignores Israel, and which does not see the prophetic existence of this small nation, that is the cause of birth pains for the modern “war on terror,” can never truly understand the United States “foreign policy.”  And even a neurosurgeon will find this concept profoundly complex, and next to impossible to ferret through!  This is Carson’s watershed moment, and the watershed moment for the modern Seventh-day Adventist Denomination. This crisis moment has been hastened on because the Seventh-day Adventist theologians have declared that since the stoning of Stephen by the Jews, God has cast away Israel, and there is no latter-day prophecy calling for a divine work to be done in the land of Abraham’s seed.  The below paragraphs are extracts from my soon to be released book—What Every Seventh-day Adventist Should Know About The Shepherd’s Rod.

Let’s take for example the Bible’s teaching about the restoration of the covenant to Abraham in causing his descendants, Israel, to become a righteous nation—the restoration of God’s kingdom on earth in Palestine in the latter days of earth’s history.  While this subject is clearly taught in the Bible (see Jer. 30 and 31), the denomination, on the strength of two paragraphs in Early Writings,[3] has denounced this view as unbiblical and labeled those who embrace this so-called unbiblical teaching as “deceived” by Satan. Yet after teaching for a hundred years that Israel would never be restored in the Holy Land, the same leaders would later publish a seventeen-page apologetic to bring clarity and balance to those two paragraphs in their attempt to remove the specter of false prophecy shadowing Ellen White on this question!

Without loss of specificity, let me now bring the Adventist theology into sharp prophetic focus.  In a prophetic expose, entitled, “Are the JEWS God’s People? Does He plan to give them Palestine after the War?”  and in a public response to this challenge question based on geo-political events of that day coupled with their penchant for end-time prophecies, I now share the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s failed prediction, and failed prophetic interpretation: “Some few of this once-favored people will receive the Jesus whom their forefathers rejected and slew; but, as a people, they have long since ceased to have any significance. For the same reason, Palestine will never become the home of the Jews; there would be no purpose in it.”[4]

So here in plain sight, and with history as our witness, the SDA theologians promoted a false prophesy concerning the outcome of World War Two!  They went on record only six years before the ending of the war and boastfully predicted that the Jews would never have a home in Palestine, yet on May 14, 1948, when David Ben-Gurion stood before the world stage and declared Israel an independent state in Palestine, the Adventist’s prophetic prediction evaporated like morning dew.  And in spite of this flagrant failure of correctly seeing events that would unfold only nine years ahead of their written testimony, the church leaders were exonerated as credible witnesses to the revelations of Scripture, by church members who are too timid to study the Bible and critically think for themselves.  Thus like wolves following a pack leader, the Adventist laity have followed their church leaders, and denounced the Rod as erroneous, in the face of their failed predictions concerning the winners and losers of the last World War.[5]

Adding insult to injury, during the aforementioned War (World War II), you would think that Seventh-day Adventists would have stood on the side of right and human dignity, and help to protect the lives of the innocent Jews who were being slaughtered by the German “Wehrmacht”—Hitler’s Military and Nazi Gestapo army.  What were the Adventist leaders really dong to alleviate the troubles hastened by the demon forces of Hitler?  I hang my head in shame!  They were assisting the Nazi forces against the Jews!  Why? they saw no prophetic future for the Jews, and theologically cursed them for the crucifixion of Jesus Christ (Yshuah), and as such saw them undeserving of His unimaginably abundant and yet inexpiable amazing grace.  In their own words, let me now share the facts of the case, and the church’s eventual apology:

Noting the sixtieth anniversary of the end of World War II, Seventh-day Adventist church leaders in Germany and Austria have released a declaration saying they “deeply regret” any participation in or support of Nazi activities during the war. The church bodies “honestly confess” a failure “in following our Lord” by not protecting Jews, and others, from that era’s genocide, widely known as the Holocaust. Millions of people perished from war atrocities, including more than 6 million Jews who were exterminated in Nazi persecutions during the 12-year period of 1933 to 1945…

“We deeply regret that the character of National Socialist dictatorship had not been realized in time and distinctly enough, and the ungodly nature of [Nazi] ideology had not clearly been identified,” the statement, as translated from German, reads. The church says it also regrets “that in some of our publications . . . there were found articles glorifying Adolf Hitler and agreeing with the ideology of anti-Semitism in a way that is unbelievable from today’s [perspective].”…

“We had to realize that one wrong statement, one wrong move by a person meant he could end up in a concentration camp,” Pöhler said of that era. “[That was the] reason why we excluded and disfellowshipped Jewish-born Adventists from our midst: If a local church had not done this, [the Nazis] would have closed the church, taken the elder to prison, and it would have meant the whole church would be forbidden.”[6]

What a sad spectacle to behold, that a people who are the international champions of religious liberty failed to respect the religious liberty of the Jews to practice their religion, and summarily turned them over to those who would kill them!  Think of the terror group ISIS today, and realize that all persons bearing the vestige of “Christianity or Judaism” are their prime targets, and for fear of persecution, a church, or organization acting in the name of Christ, would sever human compassion and turn them over to Al Bagdadi’s forces to be beheaded!  This is what the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s theologians did to the desperate Jews during the war. And even those Jews that were Church members were relieved of their church memberships and fingered to the Nazi forces of terror, who led them off to the various concentration camps for gas chamber executions.  Truly our God weeps to see blood dripping from the hands of a people who, on account of their blindness to the prophecies for these times have resorted to bigotry and hatred of the Jews—the doctrines of Constantine et.al.

The Adventist theological blindness is tantamount to the Jew’s theological blindness in an alternating way:  Whereas the Adventists have seen light in the crucified One as the “Son of God,” the Jews, in general, have not, and are still looking for their Messiah to come in the so-called “Messianic Age.”  And in this they are blind.  Adventists do not acknowledge the prophetic relevance of all the Major and Minor prophets which declare that YHWH will cleanse a people and gather them together in the Holy Land in the latter days–our time.  The ones he will place there are  not the unbelieving Jews of yesterday, but the believing disciples of today, for if ye be Christs’s then are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise. (Gal. 3: 29).

Here’s one of the many promises that Adventist theologians have either ignored or relegated to “conditional prophecies” which will never be fulfilled according to the language of Scripture:

“1 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. 2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.” Micah 4: 1, 2.

Ask any Seventh-day Adventist to explain this prophecy, even Dr. Carson, and see the spin they place on it–they do not see that the everlasting gospel will eventually emanate from Jerusalem, in these last days, after YHWH (The God of Abraham) has gathered His 144,000 evangelists and placed them with the Lamb on Zion’s summit (Rev. 14: 1).  From there they will be shielded during the Mark of the Beast system, to declare the Loud Cry of the Third Angel, calling God’s people out of Babylon and into the pre-millennial kingdom of glory foreshadowed in Dan. 2: 35, 44.

So you can easily see that Carson’s political failings are not a reflection on him, but a reflection on the weaknesses in the theology of Adventist eschatology.  It is at this moment that the denomination should take a fresh look at their teachings on the major and minor prophets and correct them as soon as possible, for their years of misguided theology will not turn their errors into truth, but make more urgent their need to reform and give heed to The Shepherd’s Rod (Micah 6: 9), the only message which has correctly identified the political landscape of our times, along with the major winners and losers in this epic struggle for legitimacy.

Seventh-day Adventists Are given Another Moment To Shine: Will They?

In the wake of the recent political campaigning in America, the itinerant, impetuous and otherwise verbose Donald Trump fired a political shot across the Carson’s Campaign bow,  to rattle his political cage, so to speak, which suddenly caused the name Seventh-day Adventist to be discussed both nationally and internationally by those who had not known of the church’s existence.  Here is Trump:

I’m Presbyterian. Boy, that’s down the middle of the road folks, in all fairness. I mean, Seventh-day Adventist, I don’t know about. I just don’t know about.”[7]

So the national moment has arrived, and the Adventists have another chance of truly presenting to the world the embodiment of the Three Angel’s Message, but how do they now fair in the wake of this challenge?  Will the world be revived and reformed, or will there be a business as usual attitude?  I venture the latter for reasons noted below:

  1. Seventh-day Adventists are called to be commandment keepers and teachers, but we find the church today steeped into Christmas worship and Halloween celebration! This is not a compelling argument from ones who are called to bring attention to all the divinely appointed worship statutes authorized by the Torah (the Book of God’s Law)—Lev. 23, without the sacrifices.
  2. Adventists denounce the theology of Isiah thru Malachi (excluding parts of Daniel), which clearly teach the restoration of the Davidic Kingdom on earth in these last days—“in the days of these kings” (Dan. 2: 44).
  3. The Adventists have locked arms with the papacy in a number of important initiatives including:
    1. The War on Climate Change
    2. United Nations Goals of bring about a New World Order
    3. No longer teaching the distinctive message given to the Third Angel—the identifying and denouncing as false, the worship of the institutions of “the beast”—the papacy!
  4. The Adventists have adopted a worldly, secular worship style, complete with drums, rap and raunchy genre for worship.
  5. The Adventists are still closed-eyed to the prophetic existence of the State of Israel, and the greater prophetic equilibrium for the Middle East, as predicted by all the prophets of Israel and Judah.
  6. The church as essentially abandoned its high calling on Health and wellness, in preference for modern medicine and drug induced “cures” for diseases.
  7. Adventists are now accepting gays in membership and leadership, while prosecuting their campaign for female pastors.

In all these areas, and more, the church has demonstrated that she is not the unique peculiar vessel called to warn the world that “the hour of His judgment is come” (Rev. 14: 7), for they live and teach as though there will not be a judgment directed first to the church (1 Pet. 4: 17), and then to the world, but instead are seeking to be anything and everything in this world—even running to become the head of the most featured nation of prophecy in the persecuting of the faithful who fear YHWH and keep his commandments.

  2. This has to be the most erroneous article I’ve ever read. Israel was gathered together in 1948 as a fulfillment of prophecy of Jesus in Mathew 24:32 where Jesus tell us to learn the parable of the fig tree. The shooting forth of the fig tree was Israel being established again as a nation but for one purpose, their destruction in Armageddon. Shepherds Rod, your religion is not the truth or Adventist either. You don’t even believe what the early Adventist church taught on Armageddon and how it is literal, and that the King of the North is the Arab states and they shall come to their end as per Daniel 11:45 and be destroyed in the sixth plague as per Revelation 16:12. If you don’t believe truth on Armageddon, then you can’t be saved. http://sabbathsermons.com/2015/11/14/the-truth-about-armageddon/

    1. While you denounce the Shepherd’s Rod as “not truth,” I want to at least uncover your theological weaknesses and demonstrate to the world that the in the Scriptures alone are the “more sure words” of truth, and not from the bantering of an antagonist.

You stated, “This has to be the most erroneous article I’ve ever read.” Yet you failed to address in a fulsome way the suppoesed errors I conveyed. Certainly you sought to defend the 1948 reestablishment of the State of Israel as a fulfillment of Matt. 24: 32, so let’s assess that:

“32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.” Matt. 24: 32, 33.

Realize this, a “fig tree” does not bear fruit in a day, or in the same year of planting! “Under the right conditions, figs start to produce fruit when they are three to five years old.” In your incorrect interpretation of the Saviour’s words, you have the fig planted in May, 1948 and producing fruit that same year; this is as erroneous as anything I have ever seen!

Looking more closely at your incorrect understanding and application of the Scriptures, you stated: “The shooting forth of the fig tree was Israel being established again as a nation but for one purpose, their destruction in Armageddon.” Again, by your false teaching, you provide no redemption for the Jews—this is a doctrine of contempt and hatred, and that is why the church from which you spawn this doctrine turned the Jews over to the Nazi forces in Germany, because they held your nefarious doctrine that the Jews are only good for “destruction in Armageddon!” I have demonstrated to all readers that the Seventh-day Adventist church has repented to the world, at least in words and less in practice, for their cooperating with Hitler’s army to aid in the extermination of the Jews! They thought WWII was Armageddon! Please become acquainted with church history, and you too will be repenting of this contemptuous error.

In your false doctrine you have made no provisions for the saving grace of Christ to convert the sinner, even the unbelieving Jew. But alas! There are today literally millions of Jews who have accepted Y’shuah as their door of hope and will not become pulverized flesh “in Armageddon!” Although you seem to distance yourself from contemporary Adventist thought, your statements confirm that you are in agreement with the “pioneers” views on Israel. Well, I have already dismissed this view as false in my article, and can only direct the reader to review the facts of the case—the children of the “pioneers” taught the world in their official publishing organ that :
“Some few of this once-favored people will receive the Jesus whom their forefathers rejected and slew; but, as a people, they have long since ceased to have any significance. For the same reason, Palestine will never become the home of the Jews; there would be no purpose in it.”

This is Ben Carson’s failure as well as yours and all others who in an ostrich-like deception, keep burying your heads in the proverbial hole, and telling the world “no it’s not happening.” Well, I have more news on this score—it is happening!

Since you mentioned Dan. 11: 45, let me inform you and all the reading public that you’re again blatantly false on this, and at the same time provide the truth from the “more sure word of prophecy.” Here is the verse: “11: 45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. 12: 1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.” Dan 11: 45, 12: 1.

Observe carefully that the KON is to enter “the glorious holy mountain”, which shows that prior to this he was not in full control of it. What is the Glorious Holy Mountain? It is Jerusalem in Palestine (a split city between Jews and Arabs/Muslims). The KON is to come to his end there, in the Holy Land, and his Muslim/Arab allies will abandon him, and actually turn against him! This is what the prophecy is indicating. The Allied forces of the west will set up shop in the Holy Land, but their coalition will break, and the Muslims will turn against them, and by a divine change of circumstances, the KON–USA and her allies–will fall on the Mountains of Israel. At this time, there will be Jacob’s Time of Trouble, and Michael will stand up to deliver the saints, and settle them in the Holy Land (Dan. 2: 44), prior to the Second Coming. There they will preach the everlasting gospel to “turn many to righteousness” as the stars of the heavens. And after all the righteous have been gathered in, the King of glory will come and gather his waiting saints at the end of Armageddon.

I will now direct my attention to one of your closing falsehoods: “the King of the North is the Arab states and they shall come to their end as per Daniel 11:45 and be destroyed in the sixth plague as per Revelation 16:12.
Observe carefully that the “he” here is the prophetic character known as “the king of the north”—(KON)—(Dan. 11: 40). That it is impossible for the KON to be “the Arab States” as you contend, I shall allow the Scriptures to again correct your misconceptions:

“40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. 41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. 42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.” Dan. 11: 40-43.

This reduces to a simple question of history: Which nation, during the “time of the end” lost “the glorious land,” Palestine, inclusive with Jerusalem, and which nation or group thereof gained it? The answer to this historical question stands in sharp contradiction to the doctrine which suggests the KON is the Arab States, for reasons I will later cite.
“At the time of the First World War the English tried to persuade the Ottomans to stay neutral but the local military chiefs were convinced the Germans could not lose and joined the German side. The Germans lost, Turkey lost, and all their remaining territories were split between the English (Palestine, Iraq, Egypt, Kuwait, Bahrain, Emirates) and the French (Lebanon, Syria, Iran). The final end of the Ottoman Empire.”

This is history and not his-story, and it falls in sharp contrast to the erroneous teachers that the KON is the Arab States, for as the historian’s indefatigable pen has shown, it was “the Arab States”—The Ottomans (Turkey) who lost Palestine to the English allied forces! Hence in the last days, the power that took possession of Palestine is known in prophecy as the KON. Please read my ground-breaking article for a full treatment of Daniel chapter eleven: http://www.heraldsoftheking.net/studies/confederacy/exposing-the-king-of-the-north/

One other remark to fully unsettle your false doctrine, is for all to note the nations that were lost to the KON “in the time of the end” and see who lost them. Let’s begin the search, shall we?

In Dan. 11: 41-43 these nations were mentioned as having “escaped” out of the grip of the KON: Edom and Moab (Trans-Jordan—the Arab States of the Middle East); Chief of the Children of Ammon (Greater Jordan and throughout Saudi Arabia). It becomes an elementary question: If it be true that the KON is the Arab States, why and when did the “Arab States” lose the countries indicated above in prophecy? The answer is simple: They are Still Arab states today! Just determine where the HQ of Wahhabi Islam comes from, or where all Muslims are required at least once in their lifetime to congregate. Did someone say “Mecca in Saudi Arabia”? Yes, Saudi Arabia is still an Arab state, yet the prophecy says the KON should lose it. This alone should reveal to the reader that those who teach that the KON are the “Arab States,” are walking in the sparks of their own kindling, and not in the light of present truth!

Furthermore, we are told by Daniel that one specific country “shall not escape.” Egypt, declared to be the most populous Arab State, is declared by prophecy to slip into the grip of the KON, meaning that it was not he did not have in as a regular stronghold. But contrary to that concept, Egypt has been a strong Arab State.
“Islam in Egypt is the dominant religion in a country with around 80 million Muslims, comprising 94.7% of the population, as of 2010. Almost the entirety of Egypt’s Muslims are Sunnis, with a small minority of Shia and Ahmadi Muslims. The latter, however, are not recognized by Egypt. Islam has been recognized as the state religion since 1980.” This is not lining up with your interpretation of the prophecies, and you need to reassess your theology in balance with my many objections to your oversights.

Finally we see that the prophecy also calls for others: “the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.” Their being on the heels of the KON indicates that they will be for him, but time will prove, and even now is proving that Libya and Ethiopia—North West Africa and North East Africa—are now moving away from Islam into a more westernized (Christianized) population. Time will prove that the ISIS group will not be the dominant players in these countries, and that they will conform to western values and governance. Here is news that’s only hours old, at the writing of this response:

“World powers sat down with Libya’s sparring factions on Sunday, pushing for the formation of a government of national unity in a bid to block the advance of Islamic State and drag the North African country out of years of chaos. Foreign ministers and senior officials from the five permanent United Nations Security Council members, including U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, took part in a peace conference at the Italian Foreign Ministry in Rome.”

This is what I call “Present Truth,” in contrast to the conjectures of erroneous teachers of the Bible. Who would have thought that Libya would today be moving towards to column of Western Europe? None, but the ones who are enlightened by the teachings of the much feared Shepherd’s Rod message. It is from that message that I have gained clarity in navigating the global conditions confronting our world today. I do not teach from the news, I actually forecast the news, as I’ve demonstrated herein, because the One who holds the destinies of all nations in his hands, has revealed that truth for us today.

Regarding Ethiopia, here are the facts: “The governments of Ethiopia have fostered better relations with the US and other European countries since 1991.The government has also realized the need of getting foreign aid from developed nations, and has therefore received a substantial amount of financial aid from world bodies such as the World Bank.”

Here are the bare facts on Ethiopia: “In total, Christians make up about 60% of the total population of the country. A 2015 study estimates 400,000 Muslims converted to Christianity in Ethiopia.”

My friends, get your information from those who are authorized to dispense “meat in due season” (Matt. 24: 45) and you will be considered in Heaven’s eyes as a “wise” virgin.

  3. Israel have forfeited their status as a nation favoured by God. http://sabbathsermons.com/category/israel/

The promised land is heaven not literal Canaan. The concept that the Jews are God’s people and that Jesus is going to bring back His nation and dwell in Jerusalem with them for a thousand years is being taught by the various different churches.

We want to examine the Bible in regards to Israel and let the Bible speak for itself. It will illuminate our minds as to who is Israel.

As we look in the Scriptures, the God of heaven has chosen a people and made a nation. His very personal own nation. We read of it where the birth of His nation was foreshadowed:
    The People of God

Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I [am] the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. 2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. 3 And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, 4 As for me, behold, my covenant [is] with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. 6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. 7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. http://sabbathsermons.com/category/israel/

I respond: The premise of your question is faulty for the conclusion given. First you suggested “Israel have forfeited their status as a nation favoured by God.” This being the case, my question to you would be: “When did Israel forfeit their status as the favored” people of God? Since Isaac’s days, or later?

Your own theology suggests that they forfeited their status at the stoning of Stephen, over 2,000 years after Isaac!

Finally: Please inform us if these parts of the bible will be fulfilled as written:
      Isa. 2: 2-4
      Micah 4: 1-12
      Jer. 30: 3-12
      Zech. 8: 1-8
      Zech. 12: 1-9
      Zephaniah 2: 1-7

      1. I never suggested that you held this view, to the contrary you actually denounce it as much as I do.

While I believe the Bible’s teachings on the pre-millennial kingdom, I do not hold that it is a kingdom of “Jews”, nor do I hold that such a kingdom lasts for 1000 years. To fully appreciate what the Bible teaches about this kingdom, divest of SDA “Conditional prophecy” myth, read my article, https://sdaprophecies.wordpress.com/?s=cast+away+israel

      2. I never suggested that you said that. Like myself you deplore the idea that the Jews, are the “chosen people”, who will be heirs to Abraham’s legacy.

I teach, consistently with the Bible that the Promised Land will be given to the 144,000 and the Great Multitude (Rev. 7) during the reign of Babylon the Great–Mystery Babylon. 3. This statement of yours regarding the Jews, is troubling: “They are to be destroyed in Armageddon.”

It is troubling because it violates the redemption promised to this people through Christ in Romans 11. For example, this passage:

“25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.
29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.” Romans 11: 25-32

Contrary to the offer of Armageddon to these people, I see the offer of “salvation through Y’shuah.”

      1. From the start they were saved as individuals–it was never “You’re Abraham’s seed therefore you’ll be saved carte-blanch.” The requirements for the individual to have a “new heart” and a”circumcised” heart is the lalmark of the Torah. Their national uniqueness was in being the proclaimers of the everlasting gospel in all the world, through the Levitical priesthood, in preparation for the Melchidezekan one, in Christ (Y’shuah), as well as being the “carriers” of the promised “seed of the woman” who was to bruise the serpent’s head.

As a nation, they failed, miserably! But individually, they flourished, from before the Cross and beyond, even till now, individual Jews have preserved the light of present truth and handed it off to others as a baton in a relay. Salvation is and always has been opened to the Jews, their bloodied hands in the death of Messiah and his disciples throughout the years, not withstanding.

      2. Notice the irony of circumstances:

“Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.” Matt. 27:25

“Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.” Luke 23:34

Notice that the “Jews” called down a “curse” upon themselves, and in the next breath Christ reversed it with “Father forgive them.” A lot of Adventists have not forgiven them, in honor of Christ’s prayer, but have consigned them to Hitler’s gas chambers, and now to be destroyed in the Armageddon. Yet, here is the Spirit of Prophecy’s account of their destiny:

“For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.” Rom. 11:25

After this event–“the fullness of the Gentiles”–droves of Jews will converge to Messiah and accept Him as their King, Saviour and Lord, for “all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.” Rom. 11: 26, 27.

I know this also because of the certitude of the divine promise–they are irrevocable.

God never changes his mind about the people he calls. He never decides to take back the blessings he has given them.” Rom 11:29, CEV. This verse more positively states that “the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” Rom. 11: 29, ESV.

        Shalom in Messiah.

  4. Saying Ben Carson represents the TRUE teaching of the TRUE SDA church Triumphant instead of this Church Militant is the same we see in this whole ISIS thing. One mind or a group mind does not reflect the true identity of the TRUE understanding of Adventism. If you want a true understanding of what SDA actually teaches and NOT the current APOSTATE SDA General Conference, then look at the group that is following after the dictate of the one they believe to be a prophet in the church. The reading of the Testimonies of EGW will give you a clearer understanding of the TRUE doctrines of SDA as the main founder. You the WRITER of this article wants to get a REAL picture of TRUE SDA believes and HOW we have INCORPORATED ISRAEL into the prophecy, YOU would NOT say the things you are saying due to the IGNORANCE of 90% of the SDA church who is either ignorant or willfully ignorant to the TRUE identity of SDA and who we are and WHERE we stand in the entire world history. IF you WANT the truth so you can GIVE a CORRECT reflection of WHAT the SDA stands for and HOW all of this is the prophecy, then contact us and ASK the real questions and GET the REAL answers and please DO NOT play the ROLE of Ben Carson with his IGNORANT understanding of who WE are called as Gods people.

As for the comment on Israel, HERE is what EG White, said about the “Jews” (up for debate for the ones there now) or more CLEARLY the HEBREWS.

    ” The Hebrew language was cultivated as the most sacred tongue in the world. A spirit of devotion was cherished. Not only were students taught the duty of prayer, but they were taught how to pray, how to approach their Creator, how to exercise faith in Him, and how to understand and obey the teachings of His Spirit. Sanctified intellects brought forth from the treasure house of God things new and old. {FE 97.3}
    The art of sacred melody was diligently cultivated. No frivolous waltz was heard, nor flippant song that should extol man and divert the attention from God; but sacred, solemn psalms of praise to the Creator, exalting His name and recounting His wondrous works. Thus music was made to serve a holy purpose, to lift the thoughts to that which was pure and noble and elevating, and to awaken in the soul devotion and gratitude to God. {FE 97.4}
    How wide the difference between the schools of ancient times, under the supervision of God himself, and our modern institutions of learning. Even from theological schools many students graduate with less real knowledge of God and of religious truth than when they entered. Few schools are to be found that are not governed by the maxims and customs of the world.”{Fundamental Education, page 97.4}

Now does this sound like a people who hate the “Jews”? There is MORE than one part of Adventism and it is NOT all from Ben Carson or the current SDA General Conference… Remember the TRUE teachers of Christ were persecuted by the Religious leaders of the Jewish church back then too and NOTHING has changed today in Adventism.

If you are interested in the TRUTH and not a LIE, then contact us and GET the TRUTH and do better than those around. Cheers and Blessings,

I respond: Please read my article and note that nowhere have I suggested that the SDA Church will be the Church triumphant, as you so very erroneously teach. Nor did I allude to the church militant vs. triumphant. You are reading into my statements things they do not contain.
