YHWH’s Appointed Times For 2026

For the year 2026, the annual feasts are delayed by a month, similar to those in the year 1844. From our published calendar, you will notice that it is exactly one month delayed from the current “Jewish” calendars; are fully aware of this disparity as were the Adventists of the Seventh-month Movement in 1844. As a general rule, we do not observe God’s appointed times based simply on the Karaite or Rabbinic calendars, but on the Creation Calendar, which dictates that the first month begins with the New Moon that occurs “on or after” the Vernal Equinox (VE). In 2026, the earth crosses the VE on March 20th at 10:46 AM, EST. However, to begin that day, it sets at 7:22 PM, EST, March19th (beginning of the 20th, Biblical time), making the sighted moon fully 13 hrs-24 minutes later (nearly a full day after) than the Equinoxal time. This later occurrence of VE demands an intercalation by one month, called Adar-2, hence the true beginning of the Biblical year in 2026, will occur on the new moon of April 17th, sunset (7:56 PM, EST). From this new moon, all other festivals for the year are calibrated.
