This series of presentations unveils the Jonah’s Message to both Laodicea and Assyria. As much as the Laodiceans will not perish without the message of reformation to her, similarly, Assyria will not fall before her message of repentance is first preached to her for a choice and a witness against the terrible impending destruction. It is our prayer that as the ancient kingdom repented, that a similar work will be done in our world today. YHWH is calling for the antitypical Jonah’s to take their posts and sound the alarm in both the church and the world.
“(1) ¶ Hear ye now what the LORD saith; Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice. (2) Hear ye, O mountains, the LORD’S controversy, and ye strong foundations of the earth: for the LORD hath a controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel.” Micah 6: 1, 2.
Not only are the “mountains,” the churches tohear YHWH’s merciful voice, but also “the strong foundations of the earth”–the political systems, and great leaders must hear Jonah, as did the King of Nineveh.
