The King’s Journal (Jan-Mar) 2018

Please follow this link to the March Edition of The King’s Journal.
It is filled with great content, and I believe the most appealing at this time is the feature article on the King of the North (KON).  For years we as Adventists have been teaching that the KON is the Papacy, but what does the Bible and revealed history teach?  What are the next steps in this new front for the United States?  What do the prophecies teach about the USA, Jerusalem, and Israel, in Bible prophecy?
We can no longer keep repeating, as a Church, that Israel has lost its relevance in Bible prophecy, in the face of unfolding events which are direct fulfillment of these ignored prophecies, and so this edition of the Journal is directed to helping us, by God’s grace, to move beyond the ostrich-like phase of ignoring the present realities, into the “wise virgins” phase of observing all these signs of the times.
It is my prayer that you will grow in grace and in the knowledge of Present Truth, for it is present truth that the flock most dearly needs at this time of darkness.  “There are many precious truths contained in the Word of God, but it is ‘present truth’ that the flock needs now. I have seen the danger of the messengers running off from the important points of present truth, to dwell upon subjects that are not calculated to unite the flock and sanctify the soul.”  {EW 63.1}.

  1. My,I am confused about a few of our teachings and am now getting even more confused. What I found interesting in this article though was your admonition for us to move from an “ostrich like” mentality to a “wise virgins” one. Can you unpack that a little bit by shedding more light on this bird? That may help me have a better understanding of the dream I recently had. I learnt as I was going through my mini study about it that its kick can kill lions and human beings and that it can reach speeds of 47mph.I also learnt that it is not so smart but I did not seem to get the idea that its foolish. Thanks and keep sharing

  2. Among other facts of cause…like that it does not bury its head in the sand as popularly believed which maybe what you were referring to. Sorry I posted that comment before disclosing this fact which I think is pretty relevant to your study. Many other things are of little of no relevance i think. Please share on it some more, thanks

    1. Thanks for sharing. I was not intending to give an animal behavioral presentation when I borrowed the expression “ostrich-like,” but was simply using an old idiomatic expression in the English-speaking world, which means that some people ignore all evidence to the contrary, and keep on denying truth in the face of incontrovertible evidence. I have never observed Ostriches before to see if in fact they do bury their heads in the sand rather than running. I know they are expert athletes among the birds family, and have seen then (on National Geographic) sprinting away from lions and other predators. Jesus used a similar idiom of Lazarus and the rich man (Luke 16), but we all know that the dead do not speak, nor is there consciousness in the grave.

I would encourage you to look at the theology of my presentation and the evidence-based foundations of the message, and realize that our SDA Church is in a state of theological denial, as well as historic denial, I might add. Shalom in Messiah.
